Chill out, I didn't single him out for anything I said for me it was the most disappointing aspect, that alone should tell you I rate him very highly and was looking forward too seeing him get a full 80mins with not Buderus or Diskin in the team but he didn't take that opportunity as well as I had hoped and had a poor game.
It's not a knee jerk it's my view on that one game and fwiw I would throw him straight back in on friday against Hudds with Buderus.'"

Like i said previous if your team is being outplayed and the forward pack isn't laying that platform it's hard for anybody to shine, From that performance last week whether we had McShane, Buderus or Diskin at Hooker wouldn't have made too much difference and we still would have struggle IMO. Personally i believe fitness wise he could definitely improve and could be carrying excess bodyfat. |

I don't believe that he is a poor defender, IMO it could come back to the fitness point, Go on then 'Mr Great Stats Man' what were his tackling stats from last week?.

I'm saying that from a fans point of view it looks like he could be carrying excess bodyfat but obviously the Leeds backroom staff know a lot more than me about the subject, Who knows he could have been carrying an injury for all we know?. |

I trust the tackling stats about as far as I could throw Eric Pickles (which would not be very far) but when I see opposition players target McShane in defence and either run straight past or through him then I'd say that's a problem area, especially as Buderus especially and Diskin are good defenders around the ruck. |
