Not for Mr Alberto it isnt. He will arrive at the Traffic Centre at half ten and then have to find his way back to North Manchester.

If you have to rely on public transport it's not so much where the ground is located, it's more to do with what time the game finishes. Going back to a 7.30 kick off would make a difference for me.

It in the wrong place, so you get zero people just walking up there. At Saints, Wigan, Leeds and most other grounds, the stadium is fairly central in the town so people can go to their local first and walk there and back. You can't do that there so they're on to a loser before they start

Sky was doing my head in on Thursday. Why was they showing him every 5 mins? They didn't shut up about the fool. I half expected them to interview him after the game and forget about the man if the match and coaches.

I think he doesn't believe half the stuff he comes out with, it's just to get column inches. He'll be very frustrated at Salford. Probably wishes he'd have waited and got a team with potential like Bradford.

He will walk away from Salford in the next 2/3 years and leave them in the $hit. He will blame the RFL for not letting him bring every superstar to Salford and he will also blame other super league clubs for not backing him.

Well Mr Gold Member I thought I'd read your next pile of drivel before posting, but, the Giraffe is right, it was a police initiative in response to an accident on the M62, nothing to do with the Salford club.



Regarding Salford's ground, sure there are problems, but, these are being addressed, a new road is being built which might provide some relief and there will also be development adjacent which might make the whole experience around the ground less remote which may in turn spread out the travel times to and from the stadium and ease conjestion.



FWIW I don't think that the ground is in a great place, but, the club at the time had very little choice in the matter given the perilous state of their finances, they couldn't afford to pay the piper....and the general malaise in the economy obviously affected the speed of other ancillary development.



One benefit for the Salford spectators on reading your 'you hate this that and the other' crap is that you will be staying away. There's probably a few at Langtree Park wishing the same based on this dull, inane moaning

As someone who communtes along the M62 each day, I can vouch that there'll be at least one accident in each direction every day. The road is a magnet for clueless, dithery, daydreaming drivers.
