I know an ex SL player through a friend and in the early / mid 2000s they received a number of “bonuses” that weren’t paid by the club directly.



With the salary cap this type of stuff will always go on. Sadly not at our level, unless Wood is offering free membership to the Bull Ring.

Could have imagined this but didn't a business man pay sammuts wage when he was at worky? So it didn't count on the cap for then

I thought Sammut’s wage counted on the cap but was covered by a sponsor / business man.
