Will be interesting to see how Edwards goes after a long break from the game. When is the TV deal up? Wonder if they are hedging their bets on which sport they may be playing?

Edwards has been out of the game for decades. I hear Sam Allardyce is also looking for a coaching job.

The skills will be transferable across both codes. I think Edwards coming back to the sport is a great move. The guy obviously still watches the sport and would understand that its not the same game he left.

Strange set up, imagine Lam coming in and having an absolute stormer of a season then having to step aside for Edwards.

Maybe Saints should sign him to replace Kyle Amor?

He would break more tackles!

It’s worth watching the press conference, it was made pretty clear that if that was to happen then it would be more than likely that an NRL club would take him. It was also made clear that part of the reason for Lam being at Wigan was to prove himself as a coach and secure a position at an NRL club.

Edwards will be a great RL coach but we'll have to see what team he is given to coach.

It's not like Edwards is reaching players to play the ball.

Game strategy, motivation, personal improvement of players are all shared objectives.



Hell need a good technical ream with him like all other coaches do. But I reckon he'll do fine.
