Even if the ground had opened up to swallow him, it would have spat him straight back out. No one should have to swallow crap like that. Riley's decision-making was poor last night and his confidence is shot. I would play Evans in the final, but we won't do that.
Anyway, back to 40/20s - yes we are vulnerable in that area, but it's a tough skill to execute, so I'm not overly concerned. It's more of an issue to me how teams are able to find space behind us when they kick early in the count and turn us around. I think that's a very legitimate tactic against us - especilly in the wet. Turning us around close to our own line makes it a long way for us to go and we are prone to the odd error or brain-fart. It's quite negative, but it throws us a bit and I worry when teams pick up on it.
