Glad we have a few good young lads in locals as well. But we still need our older players as with young teams it is sometimes hard to get consistency.

The proverbial goalposts will definitely be moved by time the new franchises come around again. The only scenario I could see a club lose its franchise is if they go into administration....but then again I wouldn't hold my breath.

I to think the goal post will move, but I also agree with what SF said lets worry about us not anybody else. If we get our act together, pulling in crowds, are seen as a club that develops players, good links with local community, playing attractive rugby in a well organised facility, could they refuse us? I've said it before we need to somehow make it so they want us, we have to be better than what they currently have.

You never know - W***n, Saints, Warrington, Salford may all go bust. (not that I would wish that on any of them, not even W***n!) But then the RFL would argue that we are geographically too close to Catalans, (NSW) Crusaders, and 'The Mighty' Quin(s) to qualify!

By the next time it comes around they would have found away to get rid of half the english teams and get, more french, Russian, Romainian, Welsh and a few Scottish teams in so just like this countrythe English will be the minority
