It's been a long time and I hope everyone is safe and well ... I have just come out of a near 5 month self shielding isolation down Christchurch and it's absolutely tremendous to be back freein good old Gods country, Leyth.



I hear Blake Wallace could be Leigh bound next season.

Interesting times to come and I am very buoyed by this weeks happenings at our club.

Blake Wallace is a good player and if confirmed ( you do tend to call em’ right

) he is likely of course a straight replacement for one of our two players that Derek mentioned have moved on.

A very good signing on face value, the only important quaestion being, does he actually want to play for Leigh or is it a case of panic stations, take any half way decent club offered ?

If he still has drive & ambition to perform then it will be an astute signing, if he turns out to be another Kurt Baptiste then we have been screwed !
