And like I said it is a rumour, I did not start it I am merely passing it on. With all the problems trin have had with finances lately it seems plausible and as far as you fans are concerned should be seen as good news if true. Do not forget it is the off season with little in the way of income coming in, and perhaps in previous years Ted may have been able to loan money to the club to tie them over until revenues pick up, as this is not the case now it seems reasonable to believe some body else may have stepped in.

I passed the rumour on as I thought you might be interested with all the recent problems that some body had stepped forward to help the club out.

If true, I am greatful someone has stepped forward, although it never fails to amaze me how much Fev fans seem to know about Trinity's finances. Perhaps Ted secretly moonlights as a Fev fan spilling all the financial goings on at the club.

Rugbyball rather than being infatuated about our club maybe you should concentrate on cheering your own team on to a grand final WIN. The bitterness you still hold really is sad and you tar the vast majority of decent rovers fans.

Have to agree with others that until we know whats happening re the Stadium, we are unlikely to get much interest from potential backers. Hopefully if things go as we want on the 22nd, then that will be a catalyst for a new backer and better times - we Wakey fans certainly deserve it after everything we have had to contend with in the past

as fans we have to hold our nerve as we haven't any control at all

I'm not aware of any money being put in - yet, and there's no definite about the fact that anyone will at this time.

Rumour this weekend around the City was a major investor wanting in at Trinity aslong as Newmarket gets the go ahead. Thats how important the 22nd is, hopefully it will get the green light.

I've heard the rumours, but that's all. All very tight-lipped (quite rightly) as it will all come to nothing without the right decision in 3-days time!

I've said it before & will say it again....any investor with a half decent business brain would wait to see what the outcome of the planning application is (from a buyer's perspective you'd prefer to wait until the franchise is sorted but we don't have that luxury).



Fingers crossed for Friday & I'm sure that a positive first step will quickly deliver a lot more.
