According to the HDM Live Q&A both new coaches are currently employed by other clubs so that ends the talk of it been Ellis/Yeaman - as for people suggesting we just get a better head coach, to my knowledge it is only LR and AL currently coaching the squad, 2 men to be divided among 25+ players - whatever you think of Radford it is clear they need help on the staff - all the top teams in the world have top class coaches backing up the main guy so I’m all for it!

To be honest after reading his book, I can't imagine it much worst than the things he did at Saints, Wigan and whilst on tour, but he was younger then and made mistakes, same as other players like Watts, Ma'u etc. Players make mistakes, if he can improve us, I'd have him here, two other top clubs in both codes have emplyed him, so he must know what he is doing.

While it is a position the majority of posters on here will welcome, and with another coach being targeted as well, Kieron is quite a high profile addition, and let’s hope the equilibrium of the club, present staff, endorse the changes, and it proves to be a smooth and successful transition.

This is an excellent appointment, may well be the best signing yet. The amount of experience he has, is top class as an assistant. Really not what I expected. Hope the defence coach’s quality is as good.

You can’t take it away from AP,

We know Radford can coach defence, he did it in 2016/17, now KP is on board Radford can concentrate on the defence.

fantastic appointment.. we needed someone not previously connected with the club..

This signing, hopefully will be the most important acquisition for many many seasons..

An astute appointment, presumably with Lee and Andy's blessing, a very interesting season ahead.

A really positive signing for me and exactly what we need. Well experienced and no ties to the club and not looking like a cheap option. Hopefully he will bring a fresh approach.

Pearson saying in the wail we are looking for a conditioner and a defence coach still. Also makes a point about appointing from outside the city which we all knew we needed but good they've recognised it
