What kind of team do you think Basil will put out v Salford on the 27th





Looking at our signings I'm hoping we start with as near as damn it our first choice 13 and then use the other games to fine tune it (along with giving all our players a run out).



Must admit I was a bit wary with our Pre Season fixture list, whilst its a good money spinner (at last) and a good hard run for the players (perhaps showing what Ian thinks of them before a ball is kicked) I do hope its not 3 tonkings as sports players do run a lot on confidence.

Ridyard wil at some point play at hooker with Duffy loose Forward. How Jimmy T can be classed as a prop i will never know!!!

I've not seen anything of Stephen Nash is he any good? just wondering as no one has put him in the starting 13 so is he not good enough then?

i think ide put ste nash on bench then bring him on after 25 mins see how he does but in my opinion start with who you know will help us in the first game

Might need to hit the ground running looking at the NRC fixtures.

Not too many games in which we can try things out with no obvious 'guarenteed' win.



In terms of the players can someone refresh my memory as to how long Ricky Bibey is out for and is Robbie Paul fully fit and likely to be a 80min stint player

Bibey is out until mid-late March, wouldn't expect Robbie to play 80 minutes if he's going to be playing at half-back, unless he does a Iestyn and passes the ball whenever an opposition players gets within 15 yards of him.

A poor state if any H/B wont be intending to play the full 80

are the paths around the LSV as bad as here in salford that rain over night and then freezing has made the footpaths hazardous if they are like that round the stadium no way will the game be on as an health and safety issue any leythers know what its like there

THEY ARE CLEAR

The side streets are like trying to walk on glass (worse than that in fact) and this bit of sun will make it worse if it freezes again tonight, but ive not been around the LSV since last Monday and don't know how the paths are.

Ive posted this because I only live about threequarters of a mile from the stadium to give people an idea around the general area.

your right (was speaking to him last Monday) but he's looking forward to the game against his ex club and the other against his home town team, he's also looking quite fit and trim.
